About Connie

I am a Colorado Native and grew up in the Lakewood area (west of Denver). My husband and I relocated to Colorado Springs in 2018. We were married for 35 years until I tragically lost him in December 2020.

I have two grown daughters who are both married with children who reside in Colorado Springs and Denver.

I have a love for God, animals, camping, boating, volunteering, spending time outdoors, traveling, and spending time with my grandchildren, family, and friends. I also love to read and am driven to continue learning.

I recently left a 42-year career in the corporate world to pursue what I've always been passionate about, which is helping others. Being there to listen and guide others through adversities in their lives, to help them move forward and accomplish their goals has been a blessing for me.

I have gone through many seasons of loss, loved ones battling addiction, and challenges in my own life, with few resources available for help. This has deepened my desire to become a resource for others experiencing the same difficulties.

  • Life Coaching and therapy or counseling serve distinct purposes, although there can be some overlap. Here are the key differences:

    Life Coaching:

    1. Focus: Primarily concentrates on the present and future, aiming to help clients set and achieve personal and professional goals.

    2. Client Status: Typically, clients seeking life coaching are individuals who are generally mentally healthy but are looking to enhance specific areas of their lives.

    3. Approach: Action-oriented and solution-focused, emphasizing personal growth, motivation, and accountability.

    4. Relationship: More collaborative, with the coach acting as a partner to facilitate the client's self-discovery and goal attainment.

    Therapy or Counseling:

    1. Focus: Addresses mental health issues, emotional difficulties, and past experiences that may affect the client's well-being.

    2. Client Status: Often sought by individuals dealing with mental health challenges, trauma, or emotional issues that impact their daily functioning.

    3. Approach: Can involve exploring past experiences, understanding emotions, and providing tools for coping and healing. Therapists often use various therapeutic modalities based on the client's needs.

    4. Relationship: Therapists typically take on a more directive role, offering expert guidance and support to help clients explore and understand their thoughts and emotions.

It's a step towards gaining clarity, identifying areas for improvement, and initiating positive changes in your life. Take that first step today and start your path forward towards a more fulfilling and empowered future

  • The timeline for results varies depending on individual goals and commitment. Some clients experience positive changes after just a few sessions, while others may choose longer-term coaching for sustained growth. The effectiveness of life coaching is often tied to consistent effort, openness to change, and the willingness to apply insights gained during sessions to daily life.

  • Absolutely. Life coaching is versatile and can address a wide range of challenges, including stress management, career transitions, relationship issues, and more. • The frequency of sessions varies based on individual preferences and goals. Initially, weekly sessions are common to establish momentum and work on specific objectives.
